Ancestors documents individual lives — one person, their vital facts, their record trail. Families is where those threads get woven back together: the marriages that joined two lines, the migrations a whole household made together, the mysteries that only make sense when you look at several people at once instead of one.

This section is newer than the rest of the site and still mostly unwritten. As entries are finished, they will appear below — pieces on how a Brewster became a Woodruff, on the Bates and Jackson lines finding each other, and on the unresolved question of where the Chaney family truly began.
