Open Research Questions

  1. Is Parmelia Farney the same woman recorded as 'Milly Woodruff,' mother of John Farney Woodruff, on his page? Birth year (c. 1820) and death location (Greenfield Township, Gallia County, Ohio — the same township where Joshua and Milly were enumerated together in 1860) are consistent, but no source yet names her under both forms, and 'Milly' as a period nickname for 'Parmelia' is unconfirmed.
