These days I'm a full-time researcher, living and traveling in an RV with my husband while I trace the families I come from through archives, courthouses, and DNA. Twenty years as an educator and award-winning instructional designer came before this, and taught me about research, evidence, and explaining things clearly. Turns out none of that was wasted.
